About the Core
Dissemination and implementation, or D&I, research focuses on translating evidence-based interventions into real-world settings.
The Dissemination and Implementation Science core consults with investigators across the academic health center to improve research and evaluation of evidence-based health interventions. We provide expertise in D&I methodology, including study design, conceptual frameworks, implementation strategies and measurement. The core provides training and educational opportunities to learners, faculty and staff and can assist you in all phases of your D&I research, including:
Discovery
Assessing determinants of implementation, identifying barriers and facilitators to implementation, and measuring stakeholder preferences.
Development
Designing and developing implementation strategies, adapting strategies and mapping implementation.
Evaluation
Measuring the impact of implementation strategies on implementation outcomes, clinical effectiveness and cost-effectiveness.

Our Team

Ramzi Salloum, PhD
Dr. Salloum is an associate professor in the Department of Health Outcomes & Biomedical Informatics at the University of Florida College of Medicine and a member of the UF Health Cancer Center and the Institute for Child Health Policy. His research considers the economic implications of the implementation and dissemination of evidence-based practices, especially in cancer prevention and control.
