COVID-19 Task Force

Objectives

Established by the UF Senior Vice President for Health Affairs in March 2020 to address the novel coronavirus pandemic, the CTSI COVID-19 Task Force has the following objectives:

  • Catalogue what the UF community is doing to directly address, or in direct response to, the COVID-19 pandemic in the areas of clinical and translational research, education and training, and community outreach and engagement.
  • Identify and prioritize efforts where the CTSI can play a catalytic role either through funding, facilitative communications and networking, or CTSI directed initiatives.
  • Amplify awareness of efforts and opportunities in the above outlined areas through a coordinated communication strategy with UF Health and University of Florida.
  • Measure the outcomes and the impact of the CTSI-assisted efforts in COVID-related clinical and translational research, education and training, and community outreach and engagement.
